The Dixie Narco 501E, 276E and 600E drink vending machine is capable of vending a number of different drink sizes. This ranges from 12oz and 16oz cans to 16.9oz, 20oz, and 24oz bottles. To correctly vend these different drink sizes. An adjustment needs to be made on the timing cam of the vend motor. In this video Alex shows you how to adjust the timing cam and explains the correct settings for the different drink sizes. By the end of the video you will be able to make these adjustments yourself on your own Dixie Narco 501E, 276E and 600E vending machine.
Making the adjustment on your timing cam is just one step needed to adjust for different drink sizes. Though it is the most commonly overlooked step. Below is some quick setting examples using the most common drink sizes available.
Brown Timing Cam
- 12oz cans – Hole #1
- 16oz cans (ie. Monster or Rockstar) – Hole #3
- 16.9oz bottles (Coke products) – Hole #3
- 16.9oz bottles (Pepsi products) – Hole #3 or #5 depending on the diameter of the product
- 20oz bottles (Gatorade & Powerade) – Hole #5
Drink packaging is always changing So make sure to test vend each selection.
